Watch this great book intro:
“WHERE GOOD IDEAS COME FROM” by Steven Johnson
I have been trying to make a new personal website for some time. Actually I have been working on it for years. The existing one is quite antique by now – in my opinion at least. I’m not talking about a new buttermonkey.com, the monkey is mainly for all the stuff that doesn’t fit on a personal site, I think..?
Doing my own site is, by far one of the most difficult tasks I can undertake. I’m so picky and want is just 100% right and perfect in my eyes. Especially because I just know it will be another eight years till I make a new site again. God knows, I have thought about deleting my existing site many times, and just use blogger.com, wordpress.com or some other random available easy service, instead of using time on my own site…
But now I finally decided on the layout and started on the markup!! woot! It will probably take me some months to finish, with my sparse spare time a couple of hours of work here and there. sigh… :)
Now for the mandatory photo: Some CSS for some HTML5
For some odd reason our cat likes to sit in boxes. here is a photo of the little guy in a vegetable delivery box. :)
